We recently celebrated our 40th Wedding Anniversary and to mark this very special occasion we commissioned Carolyn to make a birthstone pendant. From the very first meeting Carolyn was fantastic to deal with, she arrived at our home with the design drawn out and showed us what it could look like with the sample birthstones she brought with her. Carolyn communicated with us regularly with progress reports and delivered the pendant on our Anniversary Day. I cannot say enough good things about Carella Jewellers... Carolyn you do a fantastic job, and we are thrilled with our engagement ring. It was worth the wait. I have never been a fan of diamonds and you didn't try to sell me on diamonds being “a girls best friend”, you worked with me on what I wanted.
My initial ideas were quite different to what I ended up wanting and the results are spectacular. You had patience when I changed my mind on the stone and worked hard to source ethical stones and gold which was also important to us.
My new ring is so shiny; I can see my face in the gold, it is beautifully polished. I love the way you went the extra step with giving us a cleaning cloth and care instructions (I would have been lazy and taken my ring to a ultrasonic cleaning machine, which is fine for other stones but not for a tourmaline).

Recently my wife and I celebrated our 45th wedding anniversary. As this wedding anniversary is sapphire, I wanted to get a present in keeping with the theme of the event. This is when I thought of Carolyn from Carella Jewellers. I approached her and asked if she had on hand any sapphires which she could make into a pendant. She was very obliging and brought around some parti sapphires with some sketches showing how she could mount the stones for a pendant.
I chose one of the sapphires that I liked and discussed with her various designs for the stone setting. We decided to mount the sapphire inside a heart-shape made of 9ct gold. After completing the pendant Carolyn sent me a photo of the necklace for my approval. I was very happy with the work that Carolyn put into the design and manufacture of a unique custom-made jewellery item for our wedding anniversary.

My name is Jan Chopping and I live in Rockhampton. Recently I asked Carolyn (Carella Jewellers) if she could replicate a ring which I had brought overseas and which was silver plated and the plating had worn off. I wanted the ring made in gold. Not only did Carella Jewellers do a superb job of the new ring, Carella Jewellers also had the existing ring replated for me. I am very happy with the results and the fact that I was kept up to date with what was happening as the job progressed. I was so impressed with the finished work I have now commissioned Carella Jewellers with another piece, this time a solid bangle, which I am sure will also have outstanding results for me. I have recently had six customised Jewellery pieces made by Carolyn and I am very pleased with her work. I had three rings and three pendants designed by Carolyn using Agates that were cut and polished by my late Grandfather so the stones had a great deal of sentimental value. I could not be happier with the care and attention Carolyn showed in her work and communicated with me on a regular basis to let me know the progress of each piece. Thankyou so much for your support of our "Girls Nite In" to raise funds for Cancer Council Queensland towards the fight against Breast Cancer. With your support in the way of donating your time and silver, to make earrings and pendants For Sale on the night and also making the Boulder Opal Pendant for the Silent Auction. If that wasn't enough you also gave of your time on the night to come and man the selling of the jewellery. The jewellery was a real hit and sold well on the night. Carolyn it was with all your efforts that we were able to increase our amount raised on the previous year by $817. In 2011 we raised $1093 and in 2012 (with Carella Jewellers on board) we raised $1910 for Breast Cancer Research. I purchased a Locket & Bangle from Carella Jewellers and I love them, they are handmade and absolutely beautiful. I like that they are one off pieces and will never be made again. I commissioned Carella Jewellers to make a pearl ring and baby bracelet. With the pearl ring, I had a specific design in mind and Carolyn sourced the perfect pearl to make the ring and it turned out stunning. I had Carolyn make a baby bracelet for my son for his first birthday. I left the design to Carolyn and loved the end result, especially the cute elephant charm! Hi, I got myself a parti sapphire dress ring for my 50th birthday from Carella Jewellers. It had a white gold setting & yellow gold band, engagement ring style. I showed Carolyn a ring I liked & asked her to make one the same. It was stunning, I was very happy with it. Carolyn was a legitimate dream come true to work with!!! I got this bracelet from my dad and his wife for my 21st birthday (18 years ago) it was in a very sad state the safety chain was broken, it was pretty much black and nothing I did to it returned it to its original beauty until I gave it to Carolyn .... She restored the bracelet and added charms and ensured it was secure enough to give to my daughter for her 18th birthday!! I will never ever go to anyone else with my jewellery needs she is a true master of her trade and worth every cent spent to ensure my beautiful daughter can pass this on to her daughter on her birthday, that is if she ever takes it off, it’s been on her wrist since the day it was given to her and that says a lot due to the fact she doesn’t wear jewellery on a daily basis! As a medieval re-enactor I required a set of semi precious cabochon rings that are accurate replicas of original pieces found in 13th century manuscripts. Carolyn was able to reproduce a trio of rings for me that I am very proud to say are the highlight of my wardrobe. The quality of Carolyn's jewelry is superb.
